FAQ

  1. Where can I get a copy of my timetable ?

    Timetables are listed on the StudentFirst Website.

  2. My subject has only 1 tutorial/practical/workshop, do I need to select the class?

    You will be assigned to the class automatically.

  3. I am unable to view my subjects on the signup portal?

    You might not be enrolled in the subject before the cut off date - 11th December, 21:59:59 (SGT) or you are not enrolled in the subject at all. You may check on MyStudent Portal to confirm if you are enrolled in the subject before the cut-off date and time.

  4. I wish to change my class, how do I do it?

    • If the class signup is open please check the resources available on StudentFirst Website portal under the “Resources” button for "Class Signup Step by Step Guide" to view details on class signup and make your changes in the signup portal.
    • After class signup is closed on 17th December 2025 4 PM SGT 🕓, you can request for the class changes from StudentFirst Website. Please note that all class change requests will only be accepted until Week 2, Tuesday of the trimester, via the Request for Class function in StudentFirst Website.
    • 🟡 All requests are subjected to availability and non-clashing schedule.

  5. Can we request for change of class to fit my personal commitments?

    The University is offering many tutorials for you to select. To be fair to all students, we cannot make changes to the timing to fit your personal commitments.

  6. Can I reserve a space in my preferred class by e-mailing the University?

    To be fair to all students,the University cannot reserve any space. Please use the signup portal to select your classes.

  7. My preferred class is full, what should I do?

    You may check the signup portal at a later time to see if any student drops out from the class and you may change your selection then.If it is still full until the signup ends, you may put in your request through the "Request for Class" function in the StudentFirst. Please note that an approval to this request is subjected to the availability of the class and to no clashes in your schedule.

  8. What if I select a clashing class?

    Clashing classes will be reset and Academic Planning Team will assign you to a non-clashing tutorial and there will be no further changes to your schedule.

  9. Can we request for change of class to fit my personal commitments?
